Proposal

My current calling at church is teaching a Sunday School class for youth, ages 13-15. At the conclusion of today's lesson I casually mentioned that my boyfriend would be attending church the following Sunday.
In response, Kayla asked, "Is he going to propose?"
The idea of a man proposing to me seems so impossible, that I honestly don't think about it anymore. I can't imagine anyone dropping to one knee and asking the most important question
every girl longs to hear, "will you marry me?"
"Is he going to propose to me?" I countered. "Why would he do that?"
Michael, Kayla's brother, decided to follow his sister's lead with, "He should propose to you on a game show."
"A game show? Why would he do that? We don't even watch game shows."
"My teacher was proposed to on a game show," Michael shared.
"You're teacher?" I asked in disbelief.
"It's true. Ms. _____ boyfriend proposed to her on a game show. He looked at the camera and said, 'will you marry me?' She said, 'yes.'"
"He is not going to propose to me on a game show," and with that class was dismissed.
